Who We Are

Located in Midland, MI, Superior Invasive Plant Solutions, LLC is a licensed and insured Commercial Pesticide Application Company. Owner and Operator Dustin Dishaw is a Michigan and Wisconsin Certified Pesticide Applicator in Forestry, Aquatic, and Right-of-Way pesticide applications. Upon graduating from Northern Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science in 2017, he began work for the US Forest Service in doing invasive plant removal, timber marking, and wildland firefighting. After one season with the Forest Service, he began work for a private forestry company, as both a forestry technician and commercial pesticide applicator. In 2019 he took a position in Alaska on a wildland firefighting crew. With the collective knowledge of working in several areas of environmental and land management, Superior Invasive Plant Solutions was founded in early 2020.

Now entering 2026, our business has expanded greatly since the first couple of years, both in work volume and the scope of our work. Each new year brings new types of projects that push us to continually learn.
