Brush Management

We are equipped to mow heavy brush and grass with a Skid-Steer brush cutter/mulcher. While we use this tool primarily for invasive plant work, it can also be used for trail maintenance, habitat creation, and fuel-break creation, to name a few. (Skid steer services only available in west-central Upper Michigan)

Prescribed Fire

Starting in 2021, we will be offering prescribed fire as a service. Fire, as a natural force and presence in our ecosystem, brings many benefits to the landscape, and, if planned correctly, brings little to no negative effects. Fire can be used to reduce invasive plant populations, manage and maintain grasslands, reduce tick populations, create new food sources and habitat for wildlife, manage forestry slash, and reduce fuel loads on the landscape. We will work with landowners through all stages of the process, from setting objectives and creating a plan, to executing the plan and conducting a post-burn analysis, to determine if the objectives were met.
